چکیده
Bio BIO I'm a professional computational scientist. I specialize in simulations of complex multidimensional flows and transport (6 years), simulation of heat transfer (6 years), parallel computations in MPI (6 years), scientific visualization and data processing (6 years), simulations and mesh preparation in OpenFOAM (2 years), development in Wolfram Mathematica (6 years), Python and Fortran 90 (6 years). I'm familiar with the industrial level numerical simulations of fluid dynamic and aerodynamic in a complex geometry (3 years). I use modern simulation tools, like OpenFOAM and have a strong background in developing numerical solvers (3 years). I also have experience in image processing, image segmentation, and pattern recognition (1 year).

Pore-scale simulation of fluid flow and solute dispersion in three-dimensional porous media.
In the present work fluid flow and solute transport through porous media are described by solving the governing equations at the pore scale with finite-volume discretization. Instead of solving the simplified Stokes equation (very often employed in this context) the full Navier-Stokes equation is used here. The realistic three-dimensional porous medium is created in this work by packing togethe...
متن کاملUpscaling retardation factor in hierarchical porous media with multimodal reactive mineral facies.
Aquifer heterogeneity controls spatial and temporal variability of reactive transport parameters and has significant impacts on subsurface modeling of flow, transport, and remediation. Upscaling (or homogenization) is a process to replace a heterogeneous domain with a homogeneous one such that both reproduce the same response. To make reliable and accurate predictions of reactive transport for ...
متن کاملEvaluating changes of transport properties of chemically degrading concrete using a coupled reactive transport model
This paper presents a model to simulate chemical degradation of concrete due to leaching. The model considers simultaneously the multi-scale nature of concrete, a thermodynamic description of cement phases, and time-variable transport properties. It is implemented in the generic simulator HP1, which simulates the reactive transport in variably-saturated porous media. To illustrate the capabilit...
متن کاملTransport Property Estimation of Non-Uniform Porous Media
In this work a glass micromodel which its grains and pores are non-uniform in size, shape and distribution is considered as porous medium. A two-dimensional random network model of micromodel with non-uniform pores has been constructed. The non-uniformity of porous model is achieved by assigning parametric distribution functions to pores throat and pores length, which was measured using ima...
متن کاملExtraction of model parameters for reactive solute transport
In the present study, tried to examine the reactive solute relationships for transport and degradation processes through the rockfill media. By applying the analytical solution of reactive transport, the 1st to 3rd theoretical temporal moments have been extracted then, by using two methods of curve fitting and temporal moment matching, the coefficients of dispersion and degradation have been ex...
